4 High Earning Charity Fundraising Ideas!

Hi,

Ready for some HIGH EARNING charity fundraising ideas?!

I've got just those for you today.

But first the story of why we're chatting about these ideas...

The inspiration for this week's newsletter theme came about simply because I have finally received the physical edition of "100 Donors in 90 Days". I've had the online version for a while but I much prefer possessing something as powerful as that in its physical form.

So I've been listening through it again (taking loads of notes) and I am just as blown away by the 12 Week Donor Training course now, as I was when I first listened!

You should expect a full review of this incredible fundraising resource in a week or two.

If you have never heard of 100 Donors in 90 Days, I would definitely recommend you look into using this 12 week course for finding another 100 donors (and more; many nonprofits have found far more than 100 when using this course!). Check it out here...

If you have used this resource, then please reply to this email and let me know how you found it and what your results have been! Thanks.

And Now Onto The Ideas:

Starting with what we've just been discussing...

1. Donors & Major Donors:

Donors are generally the life blood of any nonprofit organization. They will usually bring in most of the funds raised for your cause!

The acquisition of new donors and the retention of your current donors is one of the most important aspects of your fundraising (if not THE MOST IMPORTANT!).

Donors can be found in many different ways. Through your board members, database, fundraising letter campaigns, year-end appeals, online marketing and social media, and events, etc.

And one of the best ways to create sustainability with donor fundraising is through...

2. Monthly Giving:

Also known as recurring donations, this is simply where a donor sets up a monthly (automated) donation to your cause.

Once again you'll find monthly donors exactly the same way as your regular donors. It's just the type of donation that is different.

To be able to do this though you will need to setup some form of Monthly Donation program.

3. Foundation Grants:

There are thousands of Grants out there for multiple different purposes.

To fundraise successfully with grants you will need find the right Grants for your nonprofit and then be able to write compelling Grant Proposals.

I have learnt everything I know about Grant Writing through fundraising professional Pamela Grow, and I'd recommend you read this review from me of her much read Writing Grant Proposals eBook!

4. Cause Marketing:

This Charity Fundraising method is often misunderstood due to its name. It is not the marketing or promoting of your cause.

What it is in fact is a partnership setup between your nonprofit and a for-profit business for mutual profit and benefit.

For example, "for every latte bought from NoName Coffee Shop, your organization receives 20c."

Other forms of Cause Marketing is Point of Sale solicitation (often through Pinups), and Licensing.

Fundraising with businesses like this is bringing in huge funds for many Charities and you could definitely be using it as well!
