I have experienced great success with 2 different fundraising ideas for church groups.

  1. The first is offering freshly brewed coffee for sale to the congregation after service.
  2. The add-on to this is that the same coffee is offered for sale by the bag. The group makes a very nice profit per bag.

This is a great fundraiser for church groups because of the repetition.

Every week the sales will grow as people who buy coffee at the supermarket realize that they can buy substantially better quality and support their church at the same time.
